classes. We specialize in new knitters – in one year, we’ve taken over 200 new
students through our Knitting Primer classes.

| The Weekend Sweater.
Heidi has taken several groups
through a fun and fulfilling time making a sweater in a weekend. Join Heidi to knit a Knitting Pure and
Simple™ design. Learn new techniques. Start your sweater Friday evening at 7:00
to 9:00 PM. Come back on Saturday from
1:00 to 4:00 PM and Sunday, 1:00 to 4:00 PM.
In the meantime, you can knit where you want – home, the shop, your
favorite coffee shop, anywhere. You
will have a finished sweater on Sunday afternoon! Minimum skill level: Advanced
Beginner or above. Class maximum: 10. Class
Fee: $ 100.00 for eight hours of weekend instruction and refreshments, plus
yarn, pattern and supplies. 15% discount on yarn for class project.

Christmas Good Luck. (BB0801). Families who find a bird’s nest nestled in the branches of their Christmas tree will experience prosperity, according to legend. Barb is making these cute nests in Christmas colors for special gifts as symbols of good luck, good fortune and best wishes. Come to the shop on Saturday, September 13 at 1:00 and make one with her. Afternoon fee: $10 for the pattern and supplies. Bring double pointed needles and 16-inch circular needles – the pattern calls for 13, but any size 10 or up will do. Just sign up so we know how many patterns to bring!

but when we saw these Ironstone Sunset mittens, we fell in love with them and
immediately placed an order for the shop.

School
Judy is taking a group of 8
this year through the Great American Afghan – Now she’s ready for Cable School. This fall she will offer several sessions on
introduction to cables and cable projects.
This all leads up to her 2009 *BIG* knit-along project starting in

The Knitting Primer
Knitting 101. Join our ever-popular class for beginning knitters, and those who want to brush up, to learn the basics of knitting. You will learn basic knitting vocabulary, how to cast on, knit, purl and cast off with Heidi. Class members will receive basic instructions and a list of basic resources. Heidi will recommend basic reference books. Minimum Skill level: Novice/Beginner. Class maximum: 6 Class Fee: $25 for two 2-hour sessions. plus yarn and supplies. 15% discount on yarn for class.

NEW! Knitting 103. At your request, the staff has developed a class on yarn and needle choices, yarn weights, gauges and selecting the right projects. During the first class, you will take a tour around the store to learn more about these topics. You will then select one project from four or five choices. How to Register
You can register three ways: in the shop, by telephone (651-702-0880), and
on-line. Payment at the time of
registration will assure your place in the class. The details:
Online -- Complete the registration
form and click send. We will sign you up
for the class. Send in your payment,
call in your credit card information, or visit the store to pay for your class.
- Telephone -- To pay by phone,
call (651) 702-0880 and provide credit card information.
- Store – Visit us in the store
to register and pay for your class.
- You will receive a class
supply list at the time of registration.
- Be ready for class by
purchasing your supplies in advance. Have your supplies and yarn
(including winding) ready for the start of the first session.
- Class participants will
receive a 15% store discount on yarn for the class to complete the
project.
- Payment for the class
registration must be received no later than one week
before class.
- Cancellations must be made
one week prior to the start date of class to receive a full refund. After
that time, no refund will be given. Because of class demand and respect
for those on the waiting lists, registrations cannot be transferred.
- Knit’n From the Heart
reserves the right to cancel class due to low registrations.
Return Policy
Unused items may be returned up to two weeks after purchase. Receipt is required. Credit card purchases will be refunded to
that card.
Knit’n From the Heart has the right to refuse the return of items that are
damaged. Wound yarn cannot be
returned.
Pattern books, magazines, and needles are not returnable. Sales are final.
